The Three Soldiers, Detail statue was dedicated July 12, 2008 as an expression of gratitude to the veterans of the Vietnam War and all of our nation’s wars. It is a replica of a portion of the Three Servicemen Statue that is part of The Vietnam Veterans Memorial, in Washington D.C. The Three Soldiers, Detail bronze sculpture, made from part of the original molds, is set on a black granite pedestal and is the centerpiece of Apalachicola’s Veterans Memorial Plaza, which is adjacent to the Orman House State Park and Chapman Botanical Garden.
